Division Winners

Competitors and football enthusiasts turned out in droves to Phoenix this past weekend, but not everyone was there for the Super Bowl. For some youth and adults alike, the Big Game Championship was on the line.

Terrence Holt, safety for the Arizona Cardinals, and his brother Torry, Pro Bowl wide receiver from the St. Louis Rams, put on the Holt Brothers Flag Football Tournament Saturday, February 2nd on a beautiful, sunny day at Friendship Park in Avondale.

About 80 teams showed up in full force to a teeming Friendship Park for a long day filled with football. Youth teams gained experience from the play as well as tips from the two pros, as they signed autographs and even hit the gridiron with a few young teams in between games.

The Adult Open division was all business as six Super Bowl tickets were on the line to the overall champion. Teams came from far and wide, and the winner left standing at the end of the day was the Swarm, a team that traveled all the way from Los Angeles. The youth players had more than pride on the line as well, with a signed ball by Torry and Terrence for each player of the winning team in each division. Congratulations go out to all of the division winners.
